Short and Sweet

Oh hi, guys!

I’m going on an art ministry trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand from
September 29th, 2013 to October 25th, 2013. I will be working alongside Mr. Kennedy Paizs, a fellow artist and all-around do-gooder. :)

So this is an ONGOING fundraising event, that ends August 18th, because that’s when my deadline is!

Kennedy’s ministry includes a five-day art camp, where I will be teaching art, helping out with games, and telling stories! We will have some opportunities to go to the local youth authority for young women, as well. Through the youth authority, we can teach the theraputic power of art and share the Gospel with girls who have escaped prostitution and abuse. Additionally, we are going to find a place to do art on a wall in town, and start painting a mural. This is a great way to share Christ in public that invites others to come and participate by watching, or by painting with us. Furthermore, we will be doing some plein air painting with local Buddhist artists, to foster relationships with them. And last but certainly not least, we will be doing some prayer walking (walking around the city and praying for its people).
